Messenger presented reports on the Massachusetts Game/60 Championship, which lost $473.95 and the Greater Boston Open, which lost $ 0.05. Ken Ballou donated 5 cents to the tournament to make it break even.

SCHOLASTICS
Messenger presented a financial report on the Fall Foliage Festival, which made a profit of $661.01.

Messenger reported the following membership counts, as of 10/22/05: 265 adults, 398 juniors, 213 life, 37 family, 41 subscribers, 7 libraries, 181 prisons, 1 adult club, 1 junior club, 19 exchanges, 3 complimentaries.

Moved (by Messenger) to approve Michael Moore of Newburyport as a MACA life member. Passed without dissent.

Moved (by Messenger) to authorize the Webmaster to spend $15 per month to convert the MACA Website [from Access} to the Microsoft SQL server. Passed without dissent.

PUBLICATIONS
Moved (by Mirijanian) to authorize the publications coordinator to have Flagship Press handle the bulk mailing of Chess Horizons. Passed.
