Event Date: Saturday, July 11, 2015
Time Control: 4SS, G/30. One USCF Rated Section, & Three Sections Unrated
Rounds Time: Round 1 at 10:00 am. Others on completion of each round.
Byes: 1/2-point bye available in round one, but must notify organizer in advance.
Prize Info: Trophies to the top three in each section. Medals to all players who achieve at least 2.5 points

Registration Information
Entry Fee: $15 Advance, $20 at Site
Registration - Onsite: 9:00 AM to 9:50 AM. Entries after 9:55 AM will receive 1/2-point bye or be paired if possible.
Membership Requirement: USCF Membership is Required in Open. Full Year memberships can be purchased safely online at www.uschess.org.

Tournament Rules and Other Information
  • 10 and Under will finish by 12:30, all others by 1:00-1:30 PM.
  • All students Grades K-12 may always play in a higher section.
  • Come play against the State Champion Central Falls Chess Team in all sections
  • Please bring a clock if you have one. Chess sets will be proivded
  • Plenty of Free Parking available
  • Located very close to MA border - 1st R.I. exit 30 off Route 95, just after Attleboro, MA
  • If coming 95 North, take Lonsdale Exit 26, go to light and take left. follow to 800 Lonsdale Ave

  • MACA provides tournament listing for all as a service to the chess community. For question, comments, or dispute regarding events that are not organized by MACA, please contact the tournament organizer directly.
  • Remember that each player is responsible for bringing and setting up their clock. Please refer to the Metrowest Chess Club Digital Clock Guide for instructions on how to set digital clocks.
  • MACA does not recommend but allows US Chess approved electronic scorekeeping devices. Please note that some national tournaments held by US Chess ban electronic scorekeeping, so be sure to know how to keep score without aid of electronics.
