Prize Info: Trophies to the top three in each section. Plus medals if you score 3 points and don't win a trophy. Special medals for all Age 5 and under even if they don't win a trophy!

Tournament Rules and Other Information
  • Only first 30 entries will be accepted, due to limited number of tables. Please send entry as soon as possible.
  • You play all 4 rounds. Ok to play up.
  • Email entries recieved by the Tuesday before Sunday the day of the event will be
  • given the advance entry fee. Email entries recieved Wednesday thru Friday will be
  • a $22 fee. Saturday $23.
  • Bring sweaters playing area is often cold!
  • Please do not call Papa Ginos to see if there are cancelations.

  • MACA provides tournament listing for all as a service to the chess community. For question, comments, or dispute regarding events that are not organized by MACA, please contact the tournament organizer directly.
  • Remember that each player is responsible for bringing and setting up their clock. Please refer to the Metrowest Chess Club Digital Clock Guide for instructions on how to set digital clocks.
  • MACA does not recommend but allows US Chess approved electronic scorekeeping devices. Please note that some national tournaments held by US Chess ban electronic scorekeeping, so be sure to know how to keep score without aid of electronics.
