  • If players experience a disconnect when pairings are made,chess.com will issue zero-point byes.
  • Tournament open only those who have ever played at the Wachusett CC since its inception in February 1960.
  • George M. Putika,born April 8, 1911, was a longtime member of the Wachusett Chess Club.
  • He lived many years in Westminster, Mass. before retiring to Florida.
  • He lived in Palm Harbor, Florida and died at age 92 in Dunedin, Florida on Jan. 20, 2004.
