Registration - Onsite: 6:45pm - 7:10pm. However entering in advance online via the event webpage link is recommended.

Tournament Rules and Other Information
  • Event located at 35 Kingston St, Boston, MA, near Downtown Crossing. First floor, handicap accessible.
  • ** A current USCF membership is required **
  • Any player holding the title of either Grandmaster or International Master may play in any BCF tournament with no entry fee, and no entry fee will be withheld from any prize he or she wins.
  • Any club member rated 2200+ may play in the Tuesday Night Swiss with no entry fee and no prize deductions.
  • In accordance with BCF policy, unrated players may play in any section. Rated players rated within 200 points of the lower section maximum may play up one section.
  • Sections with fewer than 10 players may be merged; accelerated pairings may be used.

  • MACA provides tournament listing for all as a service to the chess community. For question, comments, or dispute regarding events that are not organized by MACA, please contact the tournament organizer directly.
  • Remember that each player is responsible for bringing and setting up their clock. Please refer to the Metrowest Chess Club Digital Clock Guide for instructions on how to set digital clocks.
  • MACA does not recommend but allows US Chess approved electronic scorekeeping devices. Please note that some national tournaments held by US Chess ban electronic scorekeeping, so be sure to know how to keep score without aid of electronics.
