Tournament Rules and Other Information
  • Scholastic Chess Event at the Brand New $190 Million East Providence High School, Large Venue
  • Tournament will Start at 10:00 AM, will Finish around 2:30 PM
  • Plenty of Parking. 2 Charge Point Electric Vehicle Stations Available with 4 connectors on site
  • Students can always play "up" in a higher rated or unrated section
  • Chess sets & clocks will be provided, but please bring a chess clock if you have one.

  • MACA does not recommend but allows US Chess approved electronic scorekeeping devices. Please note that some national tournaments held by US Chess ban electronic scorekeeping, so be sure to know how to keep score without aid of electronics.
