- Ratings are based off of the published June 2024 USCF Rating List. Unrated players may only play in the Class E/Below section and are only eligible for the Unrated prize.
- Plaques and the title of New England Class Champion will also be awarded to the top finisher in each Class (including Expert) residing in New England. (ME, VT, NH, MA, CT, or RI)

- MACA does not recommend but allows US Chess approved electronic scorekeeping devices. Please note that some national tournaments held by US Chess ban electronic scorekeeping, so be sure to know how to keep score without aid of electronics.
