Entry Fee: $15 for pre-registration ($10 for Club Members) by end of day on 11/8/2019; $20 at the door ($15 for Club Members)
Registration - Onsite: 9:15-9:45 AM for NEW registrants (pre-enrolled registrants may arrive up to 9:45 AM)
Registration - Online: Closed, please register at tournament site.
Membership Requirement: All sections require current USCF Memberships in good standing (registration for $17/year at https://secure2.uschess.org/webstore/member.php)

  • One Open Section: Ladder format: no eliminations -- on average, participants will play 4+ rounds
  • Location: Concord-Carlisle High School, Room 241

  • Please bring Chess CLOCKS if you own one to ensure we will not be short.
  • Club members include all the Concord-Carlisle chess organizations: CC Chess Society, Carlisle, Alcott, Willard, and Thoreau chess clubs

  • MACA provides tournament listing for all as a service to the chess community. For question, comments, or dispute regarding events that are not organized by MACA, please contact the tournament organizer directly.
  • Remember that each player is responsible for bringing and setting up their clock. Please refer to the Metrowest Chess Club Digital Clock Guide for instructions on how to set digital clocks.
  • MACA does not recommend but allows US Chess approved electronic scorekeeping devices. Please note that some national tournaments held by US Chess ban electronic scorekeeping, so be sure to know how to keep score without aid of electronics.
