How to become listed on the
Coaches page

| Maca does not currently, and does not plan to charge for listings on the page. Maca considers listings to be of mutual benefit for the chess community as well as those advertising on the page. | |
| Maca reserves the right to deny listings for people or organizations and any content it feels is not appropriate to appear on the web site. | |
| Several options exist for the presentation of the information. | |
| You may provide text to be placed directly on the page. It's length should not exceed about two paragraphs worth of text containing several sentences each. | |
| You may provide some text and a link to some other site where additional information will be available. | |
| You may provide some text and a lengthy amount of content to be contained on another page on the Maca site. A link will accompany the main text to take the user to your additional page. | |
| You may provide a lengthy amount of content to be contained on another page on the Maca site and a link will take the user to your additional page. ( this is different from the preceding option in that you did not provide any text to accompany the link.) | |
| A photograph of the coach or coaches are desirable but not required. | |
| Unless requested otherwise, we will create an email link for interested parties to contact to you. If you have a specific email address that we should use, please be sure to let us know. | |
| Please consider including any restrictions, lack of restrictions, requirements or general description of the type of service you will provide. Some possible examples are: | |
| Only players who regularly play in weekend or club events | |
| All levels welcome | |
| Limited availability to players below wxyz rating | |
| Weeknights generally not available (or preferred) | |
| Available for lessons during weekdays depending on schedule | |
| If you should stop providing the service, please ask us to remove your information from the page. Also, check the page occasionally to make sure that the information is still accurate. | |
