Time Control:  4SS, G/45
Rounds Time:  Round 1 at 10:00AM. Grades K-6 will finish by 2:30PM.
Byes:  NO 1/2-point byes, unless requested in advance.
Prize Info:  Top three teams and individuals in each section will receive trophies.

Registration Information
Entry Fee:  $22 by 3/19, $27 by 3/24, and $35 at site Scholarships available.
Registration - Onsite:  9:00AM to 9:45AM. Entries after 9:45 AM will receive 1/2-point bye or be paired if possible w/other late arrivals.

Tournament Rule and Other Information
  • OPEN TO OUT OF STATE PLAYERS. Online Reg: www.rhodeislandchess.org/registration.html.
  • TOP 1st PLACE R.I. PLAYER (Boy & Girl) GRADE 9-12 Section in this Tournament will represent R.I.

  • Bring chess set and board.
  • Food available all day in cafeteria.
  • Enter as an individual, play as a team!!
  • A team's total score will be calculated by adding the points of the top four scoring players.
  • There is no limit on entries, but must be from the same school (district). A team must have 3 or more players.
  • Please notify organizer if you are a part of a team & be sure to list your team on entry form. In most cases you will not play against teammates
  • MUST HAVE USCF MEMBERSHIP NUMBER IN ADVANCE TO REGISTER FOR TOURNAMENT.
