Despite being held in the middle of winter and on Super Bowl Sunday, 103 players competed in the State Championship Qualification #2 scholastic event held at the John F. Kennedy Middle School in Natick, MA on January 28, 2001.
The event was successfully organized on behalf of MACA by Mike Hoffpauir. While Chief TD was yours truly, who received an enourmous amount of assistance from Tony Gavelis, Steve Frymer, Peter Lee, and Joel Aronson.
