Membership Requirement: USCF membership required for the Open and U700 sections.

Tournament Rules and Other Information
  • Sections may be combined or split at the discretion of the director. This is a 4 round tournament but a small section may have to play 3.
  • 1/2-point bye available in any round, but must notify organizer in advance.
  • Round 1 starts at 10:00 AM.
  • Please bring a clock if you have one. Boards will be provided.

  • MACA does not recommend but allows US Chess approved electronic scorekeeping devices. Please note that some national tournaments held by US Chess ban electronic scorekeeping, so be sure to know how to keep score without aid of electronics.
