Entry Fee: $25 for Open & U1500 / $20 for U1000, U600, Unrated Sections / $25 for Open & U1500 /
Registration - Onsite: 9:15 AM - 9:45 AM. Round 1 at 10:00 AM

Sections Information
Tournament Sections: OPEN = $100 - $75; plus Trophies for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place
U1500 = $75 - $50; plus Trophies for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place
U1000 = Trophies 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place
U600 = Trophies 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place
Unrated (Adult & Scholastic) = Trophies 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place
Tournament Rules and Other Information
  • ADDITIONAL PARKING, BEHIND WARREN TOWN HALL, 514 MAIN STREET, WARREN, RI 02885
  • FREE USCF $20 "Youth" MEMBERSHIP INCLUDED with $25 ENTRY - TOURNAMENT IS FREE for 1st-TIME PLAYERS
  • On-site entry day of event, EF is $5 Extra. Cash Only
  • Late Entries will receive 1/2 pt bye or be paired if possible
  • Round 1 will start at 10:00 AM, will run continuous. U600 will Finish around 1:00 PM, Others between 1:30-2:30 PM
  • Anyone can always play "up" in a higher rated or unrated section. Sections may be combined at Directors discretion
  • Chess Sets provided for Chess Tournament, Please bring a clock if you have one

  • MACA does not recommend but allows US Chess approved electronic scorekeeping devices. Please note that some national tournaments held by US Chess ban electronic scorekeeping, so be sure to know how to keep score without aid of electronics.
