OPEN MIXED TEAM SECTION = Mix of All Adult, or Mixed Adult & Scholastic
* 1st Place Mixed Team: will receive 4 Team 1st Place Championship Trophies, plus $200 in cash team prizes
* 2nd Place Mixed Team: will receive 4 Chess Trophies, plus 4 Free Entries to any OSCA tournament in the upcoming year (worth up to $200)
* 3rd Place Mixed Team: will receive 4 New Leap Chess Clocks, one for each player (worth $100+)
SCHOLASTIC MIXED K-12 SECTION = All team players must be grades K-12, from any school, any state, any grade
* 1st Place All Scholastic K-12 Team: will receive 4 - 1st Place Trophies, one for each team player
* 2nd Place All Scholastic K-12 Team: will receive 4 - 2nd Place Trophies for team players
* 3rd Place All Scholastic K-12 Team: will receive 4 Medals, one for each player

- Plenty of free parking available at the college. park in front or back. Tournament on 3rd Floor, Rooms 309-310 South
- Pick your own team of 4 Players – Open to Out-of-State Players. Teams can have any mix of adults, seniors, and juniors on your team; or Scholastic only team
- Board # 1, 2, 3, 4 order based on current rating (May 2025 USCF Supplement); Format is Fixed Roster Team: Board 1 vs Board 1, Board 2 vs Board 2, etc.
- Players will check-in at 9:45 am, Round 1 will start at 10:00 am. Registration Ends at 15 min. before Round 1
- Schedule: Round 1 @ 10:00 am-12:00 pm. Lunch will be 12:00-12:40. Round 2 @ 12:45-2:45 pm. Round 3 @ 2:45-4:45 pm
- Individuals can sign up and will be placed on a team, or play as a substitute player. Teams can take a 1/2 point team bye in advance for only one round
- Late Entry Fee the Day of the Event is $10 extra per player, may receive 1/2 point bye if arrive late
- Bring your own clock, sets provided for tournament. Bring own chess set for skittles room.
- Beautiful College Campus. Extra skittles rooms, Lounge. Site voted as "Best chess venue site in New England." Cafeteria food stations available w/ Lunch Specials, Salad Bar, Burgers, Pasta, Deli Sandwiches, Soup, Pizza, Ice Cream, Snacks
- Chief TD: F. DelBonis, USCF Associate National TD, organized & volunteered to direct tournament for FREE w/ TD Assistants.
- MACA provides tournament listing for all as a service to the chess community. For question, comments, or dispute regarding events that are not organized by MACA, please contact the tournament organizer directly.
- Remember that each player is responsible for bringing and setting up their clock. Please refer to the Metrowest Chess Club Digital Clock Guide for instructions on how to set digital clocks.
- MACA does not recommend but allows US Chess approved electronic scorekeeping devices. Please note that some national tournaments held by US Chess ban electronic scorekeeping, so be sure to know how to keep score without aid of electronics.
