  • WWII Veteran LOU GIARRUSSO (May 11, 1923 – Sept. 9, 2024) a local RI WWII Veteran and chess player, passed away in 2024 We started this tournament to celebrate his 100th & 101 birthday’s. We continue the tradition to honor his legacy
  • $1,500 + $500 Trophies = 2nd Biggest Prize Fund awarded at R.I. Rated event. Prizes Guaranteed
  • Open to Out-of-State Players. Please follow signs and park in back. Beautiful Venue
  • Advance EF by Sunday 5/3; EF $10 more from Mon. 5/4 - Fri. 5/8; EF +$20 extra on Sat. 5/9 day of event. Late Entries may be paired or receive 1/2 pt Bye
