These chess camps invite young chess players who already have a complete understanding of the rules of chess to come and develop their
abilities. With a combination of lecture, question/answer, and hands-on techniques, the instructor(s) will cover:
Tactics Strategy Openings Middlegames Endgames Problems
Students will develop their memory, critical thinking skills, sense of fairness, attention span, and have fun in the process.

| Who can join?: |
Motivated young people in grades K to 12 interested in getting better at chess from beginner to intermediate. There will be two sections, one for motivated beginners already familiar with the game, one for intermediate. |

Each camp is $80 for Boylston Chess Club members. Non-members who have never been members before will need to pay to join the club for one year in which case the camp fee is waived for up to two children. (Parents with more than one child in the camp can get a discount—only $55 per child.)
