Chess Horizons is the award winning magazine of the Massachusetts Chess Association. It contains local chess news, product reviews, instructional material, annotated and unannotated games, announcements of local tournaments, contact information for local clubs, and award winning articles and photos of local players.

On April 5, 2018, the Mass Chess Board voted to discontinue publication of Chess Horizons. The final issue, a 50th Anniversary Special edition, was published in Spring 2019.
