How do I join MACA?
Joining MACA is easy, you can either join online (you will need a PayPal account) or, if you prefer, print out our Membership Form and send it in with a check. Details of MACA membership benefits and membership fee can be found at MACA Membership Info Page.

Where can I play chess?
You can find local clubs' websites and online chess clubs on our Clubs / Resources/ FAQs page, and upcoming tournaments on our event list and calendar.

How do I get to a playing site?
Each event has its own landing page with complete event details, plus a link providing travel directions to the event venue via Google Maps. To access any event's landing page:
- Select an event already listed on the Mass Chess homepage, or
- Select the Tournaments option on the homepage main menu (List View or Calendar View), and click on the event you are interested in playing in.
The event landing page includes a link to Directions via Google Maps, under the General Information - Event Location section.

How to volunteer?
The fastest and easiest way to get involved is to contact the board of directors and let them know that you are interested in helping out in some way. You can contact the board through our Contact Us page.

What is my Mass Chess member number?
Your Mass Chess member number is the same as your USCF ID number. You can find your USCF ID number via the USCF Player Search webpage. Alternatively, you can find your USCF (Mass Chess) ID on the Mass Chess Member List page.
